ETM® Call Recorder enables automated, policy-based recording of targeted calls of interest. The Call Recorder application is hosted on the ETM Platform appliances at the edge of your voice network, and can record any inbound our outbound call based on pre-configured security or operational policies.

Call Recorder is sold as a separate application from the base ETM System application suite. Only organizations that specifically purchase and deploy the Call Recorder application can enable the base ETM System to record calls.

The application is not a bulk recorder. It is purpose-built to provide a low-cost means to proactively record specific calls-of-interest, based on user-defined policies. Example calls-of-interest include:

•  911 emergency calls
•  Inbound or outbound harassing calls
•  Customer service & support calls
•  Inbound or outbound sales prospecting
•  Key conference calls for archiving

Calls of Interest
The ability to selectively record various calls of interest has become a priority requirement for many organizations seeking to audit organizational security policy adherence, assuring proper due diligence in responding to potential legal exposure and documentation to verify the integrity of certain business operations.

As a trunk side solution running on ETM® digital and analog appliances, the application can be used to record any call inbound or outbound at a location to include 911 calls, harassing callers, customer service calls, outbound voice calls on fax lines…etc. Call Recorder features a policy-based interface to record calls based on various call characteristics, including direction, source, destination, time-of-day and call type. The application stores the calls in WAV file format for easy review on any number of third party media players.

The ETM® Call Recorder Provides:

•  A low cost add-on application to the ETM System replacing dedicated trunk-side solutions costing thousands of dollars more with significantly lower total cost of ownership.
•  A trunk-side solution that sees all phones calls entering or leaving the corporate location and can record any of them, including fax and modem calls. SecureLogix also offers a demodulation service for captured fax and modem calls for content viewing and subsequent analysis.
•  Local caching of selected calls for later transfer to the collection server and in-transit file compression, minimizing the impact to WAN data traffic during daily operations.
•  Secure, centralized storage of all recordings to ensure that privacy controls are met, and recording data is handled appropriately based upon any established corporate policies.
