Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our service providers automatically receive technical information about your visit, such as:
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it (for example, country or city)
- Browser type and version, operating system and device type

- Page performance measurements, such as how quickly a page loaded
- Technical details of errors you encounter, which may include the request that caused the error (see "Error Monitoring" below)
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website itself does not set cookies. We use a single item of browser session storage, which is cleared when you close your browser tab, to recover smoothly when a new version of the Website is released while you are browsing.
Some third-party features may set their own cookies:
- Forms. Our contact and download forms are provided by Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and are served from go.securelogix.com. Pardot may set cookies within those forms to recognize returning visitors and associate form submissions with them.
- Embedded media. Videos and presentations embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or SlideShare may set cookies under those providers' own privacy policies.
- Security. Our hosting provider may set a cookie when it needs to verify that a visitor is not an automated bot.
Our website analytics provider does not use cookies. You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings; the Website will continue to work, although embedded media or forms may not.

Ask Collin Chat Assistant
Ask Collin is an automated assistant powered by a large language model (LLM). It answers questions using publicly available content from the Website.
- How your messages are processed. The messages you type are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to Anthropic to generate a reply.
- Conversation logs. We keep logs of conversations so we can review and improve Collin's answers. Before a conversation is stored, email addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers and payment card numbers are automatically removed. We do not store your IP address or other identifying information with the log.
- Abuse prevention. Your IP address is used for a few minutes to limit how many messages can be sent, to prevent abuse.
- Error reports. If an error occurs while processing a chat request, the error report sent to our error monitoring provider may include the contents of that request.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information, such as financial, health or account information, in the chat. Collin's answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes; for anything important, please contact us.
Error Monitoring
We use Sentry to detect and fix errors on the Website. When an error occurs, and for a sample of page visits used to measure performance, Sentry receives technical details that may include your IP address, browser and device details, cookies, request headers, the contents of the request and URL parameters. We use this information only to diagnose and fix problems. We do not record your sessions or screen activity.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and for at least 60 days. We do not set a fixed maximum retention period. We may keep information for longer where needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
The IP address used for chat rate limiting is deleted automatically after a few minutes.
Where Your Information Is Processed
SecureLogix is based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit the Website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. These measures include encrypted connections, restricted access, and removing contact details from chat logs before they are stored. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@securelogix.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain.
- Marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Chat. Using Ask Collin is optional.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, so the Website does not respond to them. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not use your information for cross-site advertising.
Children's Privacy
The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Website links to and embeds content from other websites that we do not operate, including our customer support portal and social media. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect when they are posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
